If you want to register a trademark outside Sweden and the EU you must either apply to each country's authorities individually or via WIPO.
An application to WIPO is based on a registration or application relating to a previous trademark. If within 5 years the previous application does not result in registration of the trademark, the registration is also annulled in the countries involved in the international application.
The applicant of the legal protection of a trademark specifies in which countries this protection is to apply and it is up to the respective country to decide whether protection will be valid in that country. Legal protection applies for 10 years and can be extended by a further 10 years at the end of the previous period.
We can help you by providing advice and registration in the countries you require.
